(FinancialHealth.net) – On August 25, the GOP celebrated the second night of the Republican National Convention (RNC) with an all-star lineup. One of the speakers, however, stood out more than the others. First Lady Melania Trump stood in the White House Rose Garden, trying to both unify and comfort the American people.
During her speech, Melania spoke to all of the families who lost loved ones during the COVID-19 pandemic, giving them her “deepest sympathy.” The first lady went on to say she was praying for everyone who’s “ill or suffering,” and reminding them they’re “not alone.”
Melania also asked for the US to “come together” and “stop the violence” that’s been rocking cities across the country for months. She told voters her husband, President Donald Trump, is the best man to run the country for the next 4 years.
Watch the first lady’s full speech, below:
Melania Trump is one of the most private first ladies we’ve had. However, she’s worked tirelessly to support women and children throughout the president’s tenure in office. We can expect that to continue if the Trumps are given another four years in the White House.
