(FinancialHealth.net) – Truth? Elections cost money – a lot of money. As a matter of fact, it’s estimated that this year’s election cycle cost upwards of $11 billion. According to research done by the Center for Responsive Politics, this year’s total is the highest we’ve ever seen.
This begs a couple of pretty important questions. Why is the political system so driven by cold hard cash; and how much is too much?
