The first thing you should know is most wireless companies offer discounted plans for seniors. Make sure you ask before you sign a contract. Here are some of the deals offered by providers:
- Verizon Wireless offers two lines for $80 to Florida residents 55 and older who enroll in autopay.
- AT&T has a 10% discount on monthly charges and 15% off of certain accessories for AARP members. The company also offers the AT&T Senior Nation plan for those 65 or older. Customers will get 500 nights and weekends minutes, unlimited mobile-to-mobile calling and 200 anytime minutes.
- Sprint has an Unlimited 55+ plan that offers two lines for $35 per month for each line.
