(FinancialHealth.net) – The COVID-19 pandemic is horrible; there’s no other way to describe it. If you’re one of the millions of Americans who are high-risk, it’s particularly stressful. We all feel it though. The economy has grinded to a halt as the government has tried to slow the spread, and that’s led to a lot of issues. But humans aren’t the only ones being affected by the virus.

- Play with your pet and spend time with them.
- Learn to recognize the symptoms of their stress.
- Take care of your own anxiety so you don’t trigger your fur buddy.
- Speak to their veterinarian.
Researchers at Harvard University share how our pets can help us through these difficult times as well:
There’s no way around the stress right now. You can learn how to handle it in a healthy way, though. At the end of the day, those coping mechanisms will leave you and your pet better off.
